Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Age Restriction

Filltr is an adult dating platform for users who are at least 18 years old. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Users under 18 are strictly prohibited. We may verify age and reserve the right to terminate accounts where age misrepresentation is suspected.

You must not be a convicted sex offender or prohibited from using dating services under any applicable law.

2. Account Registration

You may register using an email address or via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your login credentials confidential. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Impersonation of another person or entity is a ground for immediate termination.

You may hold only one active account at a time. Creating duplicate accounts to evade a ban is prohibited and may result in permanent exclusion from the platform.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit without consent.
• Harass, bully, stalk, or threaten other users.
• Share another person’s private information without their consent (“doxxing”).
• Upload images depicting minors in any sexual or inappropriate context — zero tolerance, immediately reported to authorities.
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation, escort services, or sex work.
• Send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited bulk messages.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with the platform.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the security or integrity of our systems.
• Misrepresent your identity, age, gender, or intentions.
• Create fake profiles or use stock/AI-generated photos as your main profile photo.

Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent ban, at our sole discretion. Serious violations (e.g., CSAM) will be reported to law enforcement.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). By posting, you grant Filltr a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate and improve the Filltr service. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to legal retention requirements.

You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the content you post and that posting it does not infringe any third party’s rights. We will not use your photos to train third-party AI systems.

Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to exercise your GDPR rights. By using Filltr you agree to our Privacy Policy.

7. Image Moderation

All photos you upload are automatically scanned by AWS Rekognition for prohibited content before being published. Content flagged as inappropriate, illegal, or violating our guidelines will be blocked, and your account may be actioned. You may not upload images that depict nudity, graphic violence, or minors. Repeated violations will result in permanent account termination.

8. Reports & Enforcement

Users can report profiles, photos, or messages that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Our moderation team reviews reports and may take the following actions:

• Remove content that violates our policies.
• Issue a warning to the user.
• Temporarily restrict account features.
• Permanently ban the account.
• Report content to law enforcement where legally required.

Enforcement decisions are logged for audit. If your account is actioned, you may appeal by emailing support@filltr.de with your account details and a description of the situation.

9. Intellectual Property

Filltr and its logos, design, software, and original content are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of our service without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

Filltr is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accurate profile information provided by other users, or any particular outcome from using the service — including romantic connections, relationships, or compatibility. We are a platform and are not responsible for the conduct of individual users outside our platform.

Where EU/German consumer law grants mandatory warranties that cannot be disclaimed, those rights are unaffected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filltr and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, or for lost profits or data arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of €50 or the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable EU/German law.

12. Termination

You may stop using Filltr and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms, harm to other users, legal compliance requirements, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, your licence to use the service ends immediately.

Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles, and subject to applicable EU consumer protection regulations. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

For disputes with consumers in the EU, we are open to alternative dispute resolution. The European Commission’s ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email for ODR purposes: legal@filltr.de.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or improved clarity. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect for existing users. Continued use of Filltr after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
